Description
Science fiction writer. Has written Corrupting Dr. Nice, Good News From Outer Space, The Pure Product, and The Baum Plan for Financial Independence and Other Stories. His novella, "Another Orphan," won the 1982 Nebula Award and his novelette "Pride and Prometheus" won the 2008 Nebula Award (given by the Science Fiction Writers of America). His fiction has been nominated nine times for the Nebula Award. Teaches classes on fiction writing, science fiction, fantasy, and American literature.
